Goddess of Love and Beauty

As the ninth wave of the sea. “

Blodeuwedd is the virgin Welsh Goddess, revered in Avalon as the Goddess of New Beginnings, independence and capacity for renewal.

Her story can be found in the passage of the Mabinogion called Math, son of Mathonwy.

They say that she was made of nine flowers created by Math and Gwydion, the Druid to be the Bride of Llew, the Sun God of the Welsh.

Goddess of the Deep and the Other World)

“And the birds of Rhiannon …

Sang to those of the Other World

Bringing them joy …”

The Goddess Rhiannon, is represented by the white mare, Queen of the Otherworld, where birds could soothe the most troubled souls of mortals.

She is the Mother that educates, devoted to her children, who kindly teaches us the lessons ahead of us.

Rhiannon appears in two parts of the Mabinogion: Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed and Manawyddan, son of Llyr.

She is llso associated with Epona Macha by the Gauls and the Irish.

Rhiannon is the Great Queen of Welsh.

Goddess of Hunting

Sadbhir is the Goddess of the Hunt and the Lady of all things wild. All women who have this archetype are very active, are independent, have their own thinking and are emancipated.

The Sagitariana, as its ruler Goddess is active, cheerful, likes sports, is always a thousand. They prefer to meet exciting, adventurous, athletic and outdoors, instead of chocolates and flowers. Gentle and romantic schemes tend not to impress her. With the temperament governed by fire, they like to disagree with others, just to have a sense of freedom and, even in matters of the heart, always want to have the last word.

Goddess of Sovereignty

Goddess Scathach was known as “Women who sows the Fear. Goddess whose kingdom was the Isle of Skye (Shadow), which trained young people in arts war and hunting.

Scathach taught Cuchulainn the techniques of a warrior and also the mysteries of sex. According to the legend, she offered him “the friendship of her thighs.”

All Celtic Warriors were known as an angry erotic lover, even being a fearsome enemy.

Equally to the Goddess Scathach, the Capricorn are able to rule the world and always be attracted by strong men and men who practice strength training or exercise themselves intellectually.

Goddess of Wisdom and the Arts

“Bride has an orchard, sweet garden on the other side of the mountain

The apples grow on trees and there they are harvested twice a year

Bees make honey that lead to all the cardinal directions

and Sugar is sprinkled on all the roads of my love. “

Triple Goddess, Lady of poetic inspiration (the sacred awen) and of fertility.

Brighid is the Goddess of the Forge, childbirth, poetry and healing, has a strong connection with the bards and shamans.

Brighid is also the Goddess of Fire, the spark of life, and even today retains the custom of the perpetual fire kept in his temple in Kildare in the Church of Oak, province of Leinster, eastern Ireland.

In the Arthurian myth, the Sword that symbolizes Arthur’s is Excalibur, forged by women in Avalon, the Isle of Apples.

Goddess of Fertility

 “I got my inspiration,

The cauldron of Cerridwen.

In the Mabinogion tales in Math, son of Mathonwy, Cerridwen is revered as the Ancient Goddess in Avalon.

She is the Gaulish Goddess of transformation, in which we must enter into the cauldron to be reborn.

She is the witch, the dark side as Cailleach, where those who do not understand, usually fear.

She is the mother who keeps all the powers of Wisdom and Knowledge.

She is the Goddess that we revere in times of difficulties and to cancells any harm.

She is the goddess of chaos and peace, of harmony and disharmony.

She is associated with death, fertility, inspiration, astrology, herbs, spells, knowledge.

Cerridwen is the goddess of prophetic powers. She is the keeper of the cauldron, in which inspiration and divine knowledge are brewed.

Goddess of Love

“She was one of three Matriarchs of the Island, a beautiful Maiden in the World she was!”

The incredible Goddess Branwen, the personification of the Sovereign is the Supreme Goddess of Avalon.

There is a whole chapter that bears her name Mabinogion, Branwen, the daughter of Llyr.

The White Raven, the sister of Bran the Blessed Bran.

She became Queen of Ireland and was later sorely mistreated by her husband.

For this reason she sent starlings, a species of bird that she trained herself to call her brother Bran, who was King of the Island of Britain, to help her from the cruelty of her husband Matholwch.

Matholwch, fearing war, tried to reconcile himself with Bran, but the Irish went to war anyway.

Branwen returns to Britain, where she dies of sadness to see so much death and destruction in her kingdom.

Branwen is the Goddess of justice, compassion, love and beauty.

Brandwen is the Welsh Goddess of love and beauty, similar to our so called Aphrodite.
